Maria Raphaela Matthiesen, Nina Pencak, and Thais Veiga Shingai have been named finalists in the Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2026

We are pleased to announce that Maria Raphaela Matthiesen, Nina Pencak, and Thais Veiga Shingai, lawyers in our Tax practice, have been named finalists in the Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2026.

Maria Raphaela is a finalist for the Latin America Tax Lawyer of the Year category. Nina is a finalist in the Latin America: Thought Leader of the Year and Latin America: Tax Rising Star categories. Thais is shortlisted in the Latin America: Outstanding Achievement Award category.

Organized by Euromoney, the awards recognize leading women in the legal profession across a wide range of practice areas and aim to celebrate those who not only innovate in their fields of expertise but also promote gender diversity in the legal sector.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on May 28, 2026, in New York City.
